Peanut Butter & Banana Kale Smoothie (Vegan)
Vegan Peanut Butter & Banana Kale Smoothie – the perfect way to sneak in some greens!
I’ve always been a huge fan of anything with peanut butter and banana involved! You name it – on toast, on oatmeal, in smoothies, etc. I decided to make a classic peanut butter and banana smoothie, but added in some kale to get a good serving of greens in. You can’t taste the kale at all, so it’s the perfect way to sneak in your greens! This is such a perfect smoothie for kids too since they will never taste the kale!
The frozen banana gave the smoothie a thick consistency which makes you feel like you are drinking a milkshake. I added flaxseed to the smoothie as well, but this is optional as it won’t affect the taste either way.

I think this sounds great but I don’t know about adding kale as I just had a kale smoothie Last week and was not a fan. Peanutbutter on the other hand I will always be a fan of!
That’s the best part about this smoothie! The peanut butter and banana have such strong flavors that you can’t taste the kale at all!! However, you get the added benefit of some sneaky greens in your smoothie 🙂
This looks so easy to make and the best part is that it only takes 6 mins to prepare it. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you!

It really is so easy (and healthy)! I hope you love it as much as I do!! 🙂
Yummy! I make a similar one with pear instead of banana! Good call on using baby kale in smoothies, much better than using the “fully grown” kale 😉
Yum! I’ll have to try it with pear! Definitely easier to blend baby kale 🙂
